Murrow finally goes both ways! He’s been able to roll onto his back since late September, but he’s never been interested in rolling onto his stomach. It seems that all of the sitting, crouching, etc. has made him more tolerant of his stomach and tonight he began rolling onto his stomach. He loved his new… Continue reading AC/DC

Crawling is the New Teeth
So, each day it seems like Murrow is getting a little bit closer to crawling, so Kim and I are taking turns trying to guess when he’s going to finally do it. He’s already moving from a sitting position to standing on his arms and legs. He can walk forward and backward on his hands… Continue reading Crawling is the New Teeth
Falling Through the Cracks
Here’s some random tidbits that don’t warrant a full post: Murrow is deathly afraid of aluminum foil Kim can’t stop snacking on his sweet potato puffed baby snacks The singing purple alien that he found scary a few months ago is now the funniest thing in the world.
Baby vs. Hard Drive III
Murrow’s been so cute lately that the camera has been filling up quicker than this site. Feel free to make up your own story.
He’s a Baller, Shot-Caller
I LOVE having a kid. Now that we have Murrow, Kim and I finally have an excuse to buy those cool inflated balls that they sell at department stores. The bonus is that Murrow likes playing with it too.
Crouching Baby, Hidden Dragon
Whenever a toy is just out of Murrow’s reach, he’s always used his trusty method of falling on his stomach, rolling over onto his back, then crying for us to bring him the toy. He’s added a new twist to this ritual, where he can now hold himself up using his arms for a few seconds,… Continue reading Crouching Baby, Hidden Dragon
The Unabomber Wheelbarrow
Today was very eventful for Murrow. He got to wear his unabomber outfit for the first time (we’re still trying to find the right baby sunglasses) and he went to his first dance class with Momma. Murrow even has a new trick he learned in class, the wheelbarrow pose. Kim lifts his feet up in the… Continue reading The Unabomber Wheelbarrow
Murrow is not SweePea
Kim and I love how well Murrow eats. So far he’s eaten everything we’ve put in front of him, peas, sweet potato, winter squash, pears, pears & raspberries, garden vegetables, etc. Today, we found something he won’t eat. Spinach and potatoes. Not only did he make the yucky, gaggy, face. He actually threw up after… Continue reading Murrow is not SweePea
The Official Santa Photo
Nordstrom’s sent us the “official” photo of Murrow and Santa. Not too shabby, better than poppa’s quick camera-phone images…although Murrow looks old and wrinkly. Next year, hopefully we’ll remember to get reservations for the Santa, rather than waiting in line for another 3 hours. But if he enjoys the process as much as this year,… Continue reading The Official Santa Photo
First Christmas
Murrow’s first Christmas was a blast, we listened to Christmas songs, watched It’s A Wonderful Life and the Christmas Story…then had our traditional Chinese food dinner. Murrow’s big gift this year was the Oxford English Dictionary. It is so huge 9 pages are compressed onto each page and it comes with a magnifying glass to read the… Continue reading First Christmas
